Clay was diagnosed with MS on Apirl 1,1996. He told his fan's on Apirl 26,1996.
At the height of his career in 1996, Clay had some frighting episodes affecting his speech,balance,and coordination,
that was when he was diagnosed with early stages of RRMS.
He was candid with his fan's about the chronic,debilitating disease of the central nervous system, explaning that it
would eventually cripple him. But he has vowed to continue to prefprm for as long as he is able.
